We want to improve our client’s ability to reach their financial goals- beyond just managing their money. We’ll contact you and help you know what to expect as markets change and progress. We’ll help you ensure your financial plan, investment strategy, and investment approach are in line with your goals so you know that you’re on track to afford the future you hope for. Lastly, we’re transparent about the decisions we make with your portfolio because we believe that being a well-informed investor is a better investor (and a happier client).
Our Approach To Wealth Management
At Progress Wealth Management, we do things differently. We believe that oftentimes your goals hinge on the quality of the investment approach you use as you create your future. This is why we believe that as you build your investment strategy, the following must be considered.

Goals
Without considering your goals, any investment strategy used is more than just throwing you into any old generic portfolio. It might help you get there but it also might not.

Ethics and Morals
We’ve never met a single person who said that they’d be fine with investing in industries or companies that do things they find immoral or unethical. We can work with you.

Financial Plan
Your investment strategy has a bigger impact on the rest of your life than most realize. Little things can disqualify you from public benefits or push you into a higher tax bracket unnecessarily.

Tax Circumstances
Some kinds of investments create more of a tax burden than others. We believe that depending on where you are in life, it can make sense on occasion to pursue low-tax investments.

Jason Wenk
CEO and Founder of Altruist, a close partner of Progress Wealth Management
Jason Wenk is a fintech executive, writer, self-proclaimed math geek, and investment systems developer.
He began his career at Morgan Stanley in NYC at age 20 as one of their youngest professional employees, working on investment research and asset management systems development.
Jason entered the industry with a technology background, and one of his first experiences was watching the stock market implode following 9/11.
“I saw firsthand what that did to people. It ruined retirements. It was devastating to a lot of people.”
During his time in New York, he also witnessed how underserved the everyday investor was. This motivated him to set off on his own and build FormulaFolios: quantitative, computer-driven investment models based on academic research to help remove emotion from investing. This allowed him to provide the average investor with the same world-class strategies as multi-billion dollar fund managers.

What does it cost for investment management?
Our fee structure is simple and easy to understand. If you hire us, you’ll pay a highly competitive fee that’s based on the size of your portfolio. By charging a fee based on the size of your portfolio, our pricing aligns with your interest and our own. In other words, as you grow, we grow.
We provide all clients the same level of service and, because we’re non-commissioned, we don’t have any incentive to give you anything but the best possible advice at every step of the way.
